COSMETIC INJECTABLES
Neuromodulators are used to treat facial lines and wrinkles, most commonly affecting the upper face including “crow’s feet” and forehead lines. Using a very small needle, the products are injected under the skin where they target the muscle. As a result of the treatment, the underlying muscles relax, preventing lines from occurring with movement. The treatment is quick and almost painless with the use of ice and distraction techniques. After a neuromodulator treatment, your skin will be smooth and wrinkle-free with a youthful appearance.
What to Expect
Your injector will see you for a consultation to discuss your areas of concern. We will recommend the best treatment option and help you determine which neuromodulator is best for you. Your treatment, which only takes about five minutes, will be performed in the comfort of our office. Ice and distraction techniques are utilize to ensure your comfort. The treatment will take full effect in approximately 2 weeks at which point you will see a noticeable difference in wrinkles and fine lines.

Post-Lip Fillers With Lynne
As we age, we lose facial volume from loss of collagen, fat, and bone. Fillers are biocompatible products that when injected into the face, replace lost volume. These products are often known by their brand names including Restylane®, Juvederm®, Radiesse®, and Belatero®. Some common treatment areas include the nasolabial folds (“parentheses” lines), “marionette” lines, cheeks, and lips. Fillers are a great option to add volume to smooth lines and create contours of the face. Lips appear more hydrated and full after filler treatment. Patients typically need 1-4 treatments to restore their lost volume, but results last longer than typical fillers. Sclerotherapy is used to treat the visible veins that can appear on the lower legs. These veins are common especially if your job requires you to stand on your feet for long periods of time. These veins also tend to worsen with pregnancy. Sclerotherapy is an in-office procedure where a scleroscing agent is injected into the veins. A tiny needle is used which minimizes discomfort and most patients describe the feeling as a small prick. After the treatment, the walls of the veins are irritated, which causes them to collapse. Some patients require a series of treatment for adequate improvement. After your treatment, you can expect the veins to be resolved or barely noticeable, allowing you to wear your shorts with confidence.
What to Expect
Your provider will see you for a consultation to examine your veins and discuss the treatment with you. We will prescribe medical grade compression stockings for you to wear following the injections. At your treatment visit, your veins will each be injected with the sclerosing agent. Afterwards, bandages and compression stockings will be applied. Improvement of the veins is gradual and is expected to occur in the following several weeks.
Kybella® is a naturally occurring substance (deoxycholic acid) that is used to treat submental fullness (“double chin”). The product is injected into the area where it works by mimicking your body’s natural fat-absorption process. This treatment is a great alternative to surgery or liposuction. Fat under the chin can be stubborn and often does not improve with diet or exercising. With Kybella®, we can destroy the fat cells that contribute to fullness under the chin. Results leave you with a sleek and slim chin.

Ice is applied immediately afterwards. Over the next several weeks, you can expect your submental fullness to decrease as the fat is metabolized.
Platelet rich plasma, also known as PRP, is one way to improve your skin in order to achieve a more youthful appearance. PRP is derived by taking one’s own blood and separating the red blood cells from the blood serum, which is rich in growth factors. When this serum is injected into the skin, the growth factors attract stem cells in order to stimulate the development of collagen and elastin. One common area to inject PRP is under the eyes to improve dark circles and tear troughs. PRP injections are often used in combination with fillers to improve the appearance of wrinkles, skin laxity, and facial atrophy. PRP has gained popularity among medical providers and celebrities alike.
What to Expect
Blood is drawn from a vein in your arm. This blood is then spun down in a centrifuge to separate the PRP. The serum is then injected into the areas of concern with a small needle. Topical numbing cream is utilized to make you comfortable during your treatment. A series of treatments are recommended for optimal results. The risks are minimal since PRP is derived from one’s own blood. Results will be visible after a few weeks as your body produces new collagen and elastin.
