Steven Peine, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to his patients. With a rich background in medicine and extensive military service, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Vivida Dermatology in St. Georgia, Utah.
Raised in St. George, Dr. Peine attended Utah Tech University, formerly Dixie State University, before earning his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City.
He proudly served in the United States Air Force for over 20 years as an active-duty physician, where he also contributed as a faculty member in the Army/Air Force SAUSHEC Dermatology residency. His expertise includes teaching the effective use of lasers in dermatology, particularly in treating burn and traumatic injury scars for wounded warriors.
Dr. Peine has specialized training in Mohs micrographic surgery, facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, and cutaneous oncology. His comprehensive training includes a dermatology residency at SAUSHEC Dermatology in San Antonio, Texas, and fellowship training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Procedural Oncology at Geisinger Medical Center, both accredited by the American College of Mohs Surgery (ACMS) and the American Medical Association’s Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
